Where did they come from? I don't understand why these are considered fashionable! It does nothing for the shape of a woman and resembles a diaper. I'm sure we wont be seeing this trend back in style in another 20 years. 

Politically Correct Fashion?

Androgyny is in (again) and the fashion world is awkwardly blending into itself. 2010 is has been about recycling the past decades of fashion and then raping it of a sexual identity. Women everywhere are trading in their stilettos for brown oxfords and chopping their locks into short boyish styles. Men are experimenting with eyeliner, growing bangs and stomping down the runways in skirts. Its all of the fugly from the 1970's but more intense and dark.

So boys everywhere seem to have the desire to adorn themselves in rhinestones and sparkles...Everyone from the ghetto drug dealer to the awkward jr. high school boys are wearing it...but really the question is not who..its WHY!?

It's possible this trend is the aftermath of the Guido look and their EdHardy clothing. For some reason orange skin and too much hair gel is cool among the party going youth. Especially now that its glamorized on reality shows. I can appreciate sub culture and its fashion, but when I'm shopping at Bloomingdales I want to see real men's clothes not this trashy bedazzled shit.

Nude tones are to be found everywhere this season. From light pinks and beiges to deep browns everyone seems to be wearing skin over their skin. I truly like this trend because of the bare illusion it causes, but in excess it can make the wearer look washed out and bland.
